Love and Expectation!

Love...! Expectations...! Is there any relation between love and expectation?

when it comes to a different kind of love i.e unconditional love, then there is no room for expectation. Is loving someone unconditionally easy! Unconditional love does not happen easily; one have to face lot of hurdle, pain, hurts, and lots more...but if you really love unconditionally, you will be happiest person in the world. Loving unconditionally means not expecting anything in return.

Can't a person, who loves, expect love in return? or he started expecting if he thinks so? Perhaps he is started expecting!

I just recalled a story. One day a person while walking on a road saw a Scorpio was lying in water and trying to come out to save his life but he couldn't. Then the person grabs the Scorpio in his hand and saved his life, he felt very happy that he saved life of a Scorpio. But you know what the person got in return; the Scorpio bite him. But he loves to help others and he did without expecting even love in return!

A feeling of being loved by some only makes a person happiest person in the world. Then why people don't love or they afraid of expressing love?

Can somebody help me to understand these things?

Disagree.......
>>Is loving someone unconditionally >>easy! Unconditional love does not >>happen easily; one have to face lot >>of hurdle, pain, hurts, and lots >>more...

its not that difficult :) we all do the un-conditional love with our parents, relatives, close friends... only it seems difficult when you expect same in return (as you mentioned in blog).

So, Don't expect just give. as mentioned in holy books.. (in hindi)'karm kar phal ki chinta mat kar'(in english)'do your karmas leave result on god'.

Only thing is Your karma should have good intention :)

well many a times it so happens tht people mistake unconditional deeds for unconditional love.. two things are totally different and thsi distinction lies in the fact tht love is a feeling which is devine and supreme.
at time we do work for others, help others ,support other without expecting any gain in return but according to me tht aint love.. thts an unconditional deed.

this is when i happened to this about Mother Teressa..she was the one who worked for ailing and poor relentlessly but was that love??
those were her deeds which took her to the ultimate pedestal of humanity and of goodness..

many of us basically do get confused between these two aspects.. even i was one of them and i had these thoughts to sum up my inferences
